Clear media can echo organic forms found in nature: trees, air, rocks, and water. Observing the way light affects multiple surface areas, the artist experiments with layering photographs, glass, and paint colors on different levels. The artistic process becomes a way to internalize a feeling of space by detaching and integrating varied shapes and sequences of photos, glass, and painted wooden shapes. Conducted within the physical space of each piece, these actions assist in memorizing various forms of an initial feeling or memory. Aesthetically, Lindsey's works are an ongoing exploration of a mini-installation concept. In a desire to include aspects of air, space, and form, she invites the viewer to experience these different dimensional levels.
